Happy New Year Everyone.,

We've been a busy little team. We have now lent more money than other Canadian team and our membership has grown to 250 members!

Thanks to everyone who gave Kiva certificates for Christmas. 

With the current economic conditions it's amazing that so many are still ready to help out. It looks like this year the need will be great. It's great to see everyone making an extra effort.

Team Canada has gone from zero to 114 members and 116 loans in just sixty days!

It was quite a week for our team. One hundred was the number.

One of our team members (stand up and take a bow Frank!) made his 100th loan, our team made it's 100th loan and our membership passed the 100 mark!

Hi EVERYONE!

I'm sorry I haven't been posting anything for the last couple of weeks. I've been busy trying to get as much done around my place as I can before the West Coast rains begin.

I want to welcome all the new members. Glad to have you as part of our humble little team. Well, maybe not so little any more we now have over 60 members!

I'm glad to see that in these uncertain times, so many are still willing to help make life better for someone else.

WELCOME TO KIVA'S TEAM CANADA

Welcome to Team Canada everybody.

  I thought it might be a good idea to add a team blog so ... here it is.

Well, The Team has been in existence for about a week now and it's growing fast. We have grown to fourteen members and made 11 loans.  So far our members come from 3 provinces, one state and 2 countries. 

It doesn't seem that Kiva anticipated what the recent changes would do to traffic on the site. Seems that some times the servers are struggling to keep up but I'm sure things will settle down before too long.
